OVER THE YEARS, the Department of Music has continued to develop scholarship endowments from alumni, faculty, and friends of the department. Approximately 60% of all music majors and a number of music minors receive scholarship aid. Awards to music majors are made for four years of residency so long as the student is making appropriate progress toward their degree.

As tuitions rise and the quality of the students are increasing, we are looking to our friends and alumni to help us develop the scholarships and awards. By creating a firm financial base, we will keep the Miami University Department of Music competitive in attracting strong musical talent.
