Summer Workshops

All workshops are pending until sufficient enrollment is reached. TEAM scholarships are available to all eligible workshop music teachers.

MUS 699D Everyday Advocacy: Saving Your Program Before It Needs Saving
Faculty: Kristen Brown and Trista Emmonds, Princeton City Schools
Dates: July 5-7 and July 12-14. Thursdays 5:00-9:00, Fridays 8:00-5:00, Saturdays 8:00-12:00.
Location: Miami University     Credits: 2-3 graduate semester credits
Costs:
• Participant only (no graduate credit): $299
• Two graduate credits for full-time Ohio teachers with a TEAM scholarship: $476.50 + $25.00 administration fee. Add $25 application fee if you have never taken a graduate course at Miami.
• Three graduate credits for full-time Ohio teachers with a TEAM scholarship:  $714.75 + $25.00 administration fee. Add $25 application fee if you have never taken a graduate course at Miami.

MUS 699E World Music for Choirs
This workshop will be held during the 2012 World Choir Games. Participants will attend concerts, special workshops and clinics with international conductors and composers, and attend discussion-based sessions with Miami University choral faculty. There will also be an opportunity for participants to sing in a mass choir with orchestral accompaniment as a part of the World Choir Games

Dates: July 9-13, 2012 (specific times are TBA nd will be flexible to a degree)
Location: Cincinnati venues     Credits: two graduate semester credits
Costs:
• Participants only (no graduate credit): $399 (includes admission fee to 2012 World Choir Games

Two graduate credits for full-time Ohio teachers with a TEAM scholarship:  $576.50 + $25.00 administration fee (includes admission fee to 2012 World Choir Games). Add $25 application fee if you have never taken a graduate course at Miami.
