What is Urinetown? Its not just an award-winning musical with a really terrible name. It’s a place. A really terrible place where only the most vile criminals are sent. To end up there you need only do one terrible thing – pee without paying. Urinetown (the place) is the reality in Urinetown: The Musical, a satire that skewers capitalism, social irresponsibility, bureaucracy, corporate culture, liberalism and conservatism all in broad comic strokes.
