The centerpiece of this towering program features the Mussorgsky classic in a production traveling with the award-winning film of choreographed surreal paintings by Natasha Turvosky. The original paintings by Victor Hartmann that inspired Pictures at an Exhibition are lost, now his music has inspired the art - 15 intriguing paintings that have been digitally animated and choreographed to the music and projected above the orchestra. A feast for the senses!
