Audition Info

The audition is completed with all the cast participating in one large group, so everyone needs to be here no later than 12:30. The audition process Missoula Children’s Theatre follows is unique and everyone will be up and moving throughout the 2-hour audition. No advance preparation is necessary, but a smile never hurts! Everyone registered for the workshop will have a role and those assignments will be made right after the audition.    Some cast members will begin rehearsing after a short break on Monday. Supervised workshops and activities will start for everyone else. Workshops and rehearsals will run from 11:00-5:00 p.m. the rest of the week with the performance at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sack lunch required, afternoon snacks will be provided. Dinner on Friday will be provided as well.

Drop Off/Pick Up Procedures

Monday: Please come in to the Hall Auditorium lobby to check in your child.  Tuesday-Thursday: Children will be dropped off and picked up at the south entrance of Hall Auditorium. Enter the driveway off Campus Avenue between McGuffy Hall and Hall Auditorium. Performing Arts Series Staff will be waiting in the drive 10:30-11:00 to sign your child in and each evening at 5:00 for you to sign your child out. Workshops and rehearsals end at 5:00 p.m.; please be prompt in picking up your child. 
Friday: Drop off your children at the south entrance of Hall Auditorium 10:30-11:00. Dinner will be provided for your child prior to the evening  performance. We will host a cast party for the participants and their families following the performance. Please sign your child out after the performance.
