Curry Distinguished Educator Awards

In 1994 an award was establish recognizing distinguished faculty in the School of Fine Arts.

The award is named for Professor Emeritus Crossan Hays Curry, a former faculty member in the Department of Art. Professor Curry was greatly admired by students for his teaching and his art making.

This award honors outstanding faculty in the School of Fine Arts who have, in a similar manner, blended creative and scholarly achievements to the advantage of student learning
