In Miami's Department of Theatre, we believe that theatre can inspire a world of possibilities. 

Our majors make theatre from day one, and actively participate in productions throughout their first year. Each theatre major has the chance to explore everything that goes in to making theatre, and through that exploration choose a focus that is uniquely theirs.

Our productions highlight diverse voices through a broad range of theatrical styles, providing majors unique opportunities while engaging our audiences with thought-provoking work.

Travel overseas, internships and even second majors and minors are possible at Miami, and add valuable insight to making art with meaning. 

With alums working in New York, Chicago and Hollywood, and enrolled in the country's best graduate schools, our success is proven.
